Congratulations, to Somerset fifth grader Cameron Trichel, who was awarded first place in the 3-5 grade division by the World Affairs Council in their 18th annual World Citizen Essay Contest. Trichel’s essay titled, “A Vacation for the Earth” was selected from more than 500 submissions from across the state.  Students were tasked with exploring different ways in which they could engage as a sustainable traveler.
