Congratulations to Woodridge 5th grader Kaelee Wong who won first place in the Level 3 Senior B group at the Battle of Bellevue gymnastics meet!

Wong began learning gymnastics in third grade and started competing this year. Next up for Wong is a meet in Las Vegas where she will compete with other gymnasts in her age group and level from around the country.

“We were so excited to see her success,” Kaelee’s mom, Rechelle Wong, said. “We believe this is an application of her school skills and virtues practice in action.”

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
