Attention Tyee Artists! It’s time for the Book Fair Poster Design Contest where you can help advertise the fair and enter to win a University Book Store gift card! Details about the contest are printed on flyers which can be found in the Library and in the main office. Final poster entries will be due November 22nd.

Are you interested in writing and looking for an avenue to display your amazing talents? Well now here’s your chance! The Letters About Literature contest is currently underway. The theme is, “How did an author’s work change your view of the world or yourself?” Information and entry forms are available in the library and entries must be postmarked by January 9, 2017. See Mrs. Hecht in the library for more information or talk to your Language Arts teacher.

If that is exciting enough, there is a second contest underway relating to Washington State history! For this contest, participants will create a Zine (pronounced zeen like bean) about some aspect of Washington’s history. A Zine is a self-published magazine, with limited print runs. Entries for this contest must be postmarked by December 15, 2016. See Mrs. Hecht in the library for more information.
