Traffic Revision along SE Allen Road:
The City of Bellevue recently installed a “Do Not Block Intersection” sign and pavement markings on Allen Road just outside of Tyee’s driveway. The purpose of the sign and markings is to prevent queueing vehicles on Allen Road waiting for the traffic signal from blocking the ingress and egress of school traffic, especially during drop-off and pick-up hours. The sign and pavement markings are regulatory and can be enforced by Bellevue Police. The Transportation Department will be observing driveway operations in the next few weeks and will make adjustments as necessary. For questions or comments, please contact Jeremy Chin, Senior Transportation Engineer (email@example.com), at the City of Bellevue’s Transportation Department.
