Save the Date: 6th Grade Camp!
The process has begun for our annual trip to Camp Orkila on Orcas Island. 6th grade camp is an overnight outdoor environmental education experience for all our 6th grade students.
- Last Week of February: 6th Grade Camp Permission Packets handed out to all 6th grade students in science classes.
- Wednesday, March 25, 7 pm: 6th Grade Camp Parent Information Meeting in the gym. A summary of our camp program will be presented and a chance to ask questions.
- Friday, March 27: All permission forms and student tuition payments due to main office. The cost of camp is expected to be $295 per student.
- Tuesday, April 21 - Friday April 24: 6th Grade Camp at YMCA Camp Orkila!
We are also looking for parent volunteers. The responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Attending entire trip from April 21 - April 24, riding a charter bus, a ferry trip through the San Juan Islands, monitoring students while in environmental education classes, enjoying evening activities, and having an overall good time. Parent volunteer must pay the full tuition. Dads are welcome and encouraged to apply! If interested, please fill out the Parent Volunteer Application in the permission packet that will be sent home the last week of February.
