“Come learn about bird identification this Thursday at Eco Club. The Eastside Audubon Society will teach us tools to help identify birds in our community. All are welcome! Room 1313 during activity time.”
There is no badminton this week. End of the season was last Thursday. However, our first day back to school in January, it's a brand new season . . . it's time for some volleyball! Come on out, bring your friends, and join Coach Craig and Coach Pearson in our quest for another championship season! We'll play a 10-game season against the other middle schools in our district, and everyone is on a team according to their grade level, so it's a lot of fun. Check BrightSpace for details and the permission form to fill out and bring to our first practice on Monday, January 5. See you on the volleyball court!
The lost and found pile is turning into a mountain of clothes, shoes and other mishmash of items. Claim your lost goods before the break. All items will be bagged up and donated on Friday.
Do you like to write and are you looking for something to do over the break? Then consider entering the Letters About Literature Writing contest sponsored by the Washington State Library. For more information visit http://www.sos.wa.gov/library . Entry forms can be downloaded from this site and Mrs. Hecht has extra entry forms in the library. Middle school entry forms are due on January 15, 2015.
The library will be closed during 3rd lunch today.
Attention all students! We have some breaking news. This year’s 7th and 8th grade AVID team have recently noticed assignments mysteriously disappearing. However, research has shown students with clean, and well-organized binders do not have this issue. Come to todays binder blast during tutorial in ms ostroff’s room which is 2203 to find those assignments, and spike up your grade before break.
