Connecting to 'BSD VPN Student' in Windows 11

BSD VPN Student is a Windows VPN Profile. The VPN client is only for BSD devices, this will not work on personal devices.

Verify you have one of the BSD VPN profiles installed

A BSD VPN profile is deployed to user accounts.  Soon after a student logs onto a computer for the first time, BSD VPN Student will automatically appear in your network connections.

1. Click the network icon in your taskbar. 

    

2. Click on VPN. 

    

3. Check if BSD VPN Student is in the list of network connections.

Connect to BSD VPN Student

1. To connect to BSD VPN Student, first connect to your wireless network, then select BSD VPN Student, and click Connect. 

    

2. Remember to disconnect from the district VPN after you have what you need.  Staying connected to the district VPN when not needed will slow down your internet access and also unnecessarily use up network resources.
