ParentVUE - Grades & Attendance

1. Go To ParentVue
2. On the left hand side of the screen select the link that says “I am a parent”.

3. You will be directed to the ParentVUE log-in page. In the bottom right corner select the “More Options” button. Click on the “Account Activation” link.
    
4. Review the Privacy Statement. If you accept, click the “I accept” button below the privacy statement

5. Locate the email that was sent from the Bellevue School District with your Activation Key.
   1. Note: You may need to check your junk or spam folders.

6. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and the Activation Key as provided in the Activation Key email, then click “Continue to Step 3”.
   1. The first name and last name must exactly match the information in the letter

7. Create and enter a unique User Name.
   1. An error message displays if someone is already using the user name entered.
   2. The District recommends that you use your primary email as your User Name.
       
8. Enter a Password and re-enter it in the “Confirm Password” field.
   1. The password must be a minimum of 6 characters in length and can consist of numbers and letters, but not special characters.
   2. The password is case-sensitive.
       
9. Enter the Primary E-Mail address.
    
10. Click “Complete Account Activation”.
     
11. Once you have activated your ParentVUE account, you can log in using your User Name and Password.
    1. To access student information in ParentVUE, parents and guardians must first verify/update student data on an annual basis.

1. Download and install the ParentVUE mobile application onto your device.

2. Launch the mobile app.
    
3. The following welcome message will display: “Welcome to ParentVUE. This app must connect to your school district’s server. To find your school district swipe left.” Swipe left on the screen.

4. A location message will appear.
   1. If you select “Allow” for ParentVUE to use location services, a list of school districts will display. Click on “Bellevue School District”.
   2. If you select “Don’t Allow”
      1. Enter “98005” in the Zip Code field and then select “Bellevue School District”
      2. Or select “Enter Manually” in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and enter the following URL: https://wa-bsd405-psv.edupoint.com . Click “Test”, then select “Bellevue School District”.

5. A pop-up window will appear asking if you have an activation key and if you would like to activate your account.
   1. Select “Yes” to activate your account.
   2. Select “Already Activated” to be directed to the log in page if your account has already been activated.

6. After selecting “Yes” to continue to activate your account, the Privacy Statement will appear. If you accept, click “I Accept” in the bottom right corner of the screen.

7. Locate the email that was sent from the Bellevue School District with your Activation Key.
   1. Note: You may need to check your junk or spam folders.
       
8. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and the Activation Key as provided in the Activation Key email, then click “Continue to Step 3”.

11. Enter the Primary E-Mail address.
     
12. Click “Complete Account Activation”.
    1. If you cannot continue to the next page, please enter a different User Name.

1.  Log in to ParentVUE. 
2.  Click “Grade Book” in the Navigation Bar on the left side of the page.

3. Your student’s classes will appear. Select the name of the desired class to open the grade book.  

4.  On the right side of the page, you will see different views of grade book data that vary depending on how the teacher uses the grading software.  
   1. The three possible views are: 
      1.  Assignment View 
      2.  Standards View 
      3.  Course Content View  
   2.  Not every class will display each view depending on how the teacher has set up grading for their course.  

1. Please go to the ParentVUE Account Access at:  https://wa-bsd405-psv.edupoint.com/Login_Parent_PXP.aspx
2. Click on I am a Parent
3. On the Login page, click on drop down arrow on the More Options drop-down arrow

4. Click Forgot Password
   Important Note: Parent/guardian has 20 minutes to reset their password after they click on the “Forgot Password” option. Also, ParentVUE password reset can only be done on a browser, either on computer or mobile devices.

5. Enter the email address that you have registered with the school that you’ve created during ParentVUE activation process, then click Send Email.
6. The parent/guardian will receive an email from parenthelp@bsd405.org. If the email does not appear in the Inbox, please check the Junk Email or Spam folder. In the email, click the link: “Click here to change password”

7. Once parent/guardian clicks on the “Click here to change password” link in the email, the Change Password screen will display

8. Parent will need to enter First Name and Last Name exactly how it is registered with the Synergy School Student Information System
9. Enter New Password and Confirm New Password
10. Then, click Change Password
11. A message stating change was successful will display
12. Click the link to go back to the ParentVUE home page and login with the new password.
