Summer Resources

The Bellevue School District seeks to support our community through the summer months when students are away from our buildings. Please check back frequently over the next month to find updated information about summer meals and grocery programs, summer learning, health and vaccination requirements, information from student technology services, and more.
We wish our learning community a safe and healthy summer break!

Summer Safety

Throughout the summer, we remind students and families to prioritize their safety while enjoying time away from school. Here are a few important reminders:
- Always be aware of your surroundings and stay connected with trusted family or friends when out in the community.
- If you ever feel unsafe, seek help immediately—whether from a trusted adult or by calling emergency services.
- If you see or hear something concerning, report it. It’s important that we look out for one another.
- Take advantage of safe community spaces and events available throughout Bellevue this summer.
The district remains committed to fostering a community of care and will continue to advocate for the safety of our staff and students.
Summer Learning

Summer learning helps students retain academic skills, explore new interests, and stay engaged over the summer months. We invite our learning community to engage in summer learning together by taking a trip to our local libraries and exploring reading as a family, visiting museums or cultural sites, cooking using recipes from different cultures, or taking nature walks that spark curiosity and conversation. Find fun summer learning options in literacy, science social studies and more by visiting BSD's elementary instructional materials and family resources page.
