Homeless and Foster Care Services
We provide educational services for students that are homeless and children and youth who are part of the Foster Care system. Students that are homeless are identified by the federal McKinney-Vento homeless law as those who, as part of a family or living alone, lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence such as living in cars, motels, shelters, at someone else’s home, transitional housing or similar settings.
Students who are experiencing homelessness have a right to receive transportation services to their school of origin.
