Back-to-School Information and Resources

Beginning the week of August 17, families may go to the Free and Reduced Price Meals webpage to complete the 2026-2027 Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) application. Complete only one application per household. List all students and all household members, including those that do not have an income. Qualification for school meal benefits is based on household size and income. Families must reapply every year. Once applications are processed, school meal eligibility notifications are emailed to families. 

If your student(s) qualified for free or reduced-priced meals last year in the Bellevue School District, their prior year eligibility for free or reduced-price meals is extended for the first 30 school days to allow time for a new application to be completed and processed.   The final day a student may use their prior year eligibility is October 15, 2026. After this date, meals will be charged at the paid meal price if eligibility for free or reduced-price meals has not been reestablished.   

Families, including those with students attending schools where meals are available at no cost, are encouraged to complete the CNEEB application to establish eligibility for school meal benefits. This information is used for the summer grocery benefit program, Sun Bucks and with consent to share, the district’s Fee Waiver program and Family Connection Center resources. 

Before completing a CNEEB application, families should check their email (including their spam folder) for a message from Nutrition Services. Starting in mid-August, Nutrition Services will begin notifying families if their student(s) have been automatically qualified for meal benefits due to participation in assistance programs such as Basic Food, TANF, FDIPR, ECEAP, McKinney Vento (Homeless), Migrant, Foster, etc. This email will include a link to the 2026-2027 Consent to Share form. The Consent form must be completed annually for your student(s) to gain access to the district’s Fee Waiver program and Family Connection Center resources.  

This year, breakfast and lunch will be offered at no cost (free) for all students attending the following schools: 

• Ardmore 
• Highland 
• Lake Hills 
• Phantom Lake 
• Sherwood Forest 
• Stevenson 

• Elementary School (Preschool, Kindergarten – Grade 5): Breakfast - $2.50, Lunch - $4.25  

• Middle School: Breakfast - $2.75, Lunch - $4.50  

• High School: Breakfast - $2.75, Lunch - $4.50

• Milk only: $0.75

Meal menus  for September 2026 will be posted when they are available.

• Elementary Schools: Ardmore, Clyde Hill, Enatai, Lake Hills, Phantom Lake, Sherwood Forest, Spiritridge and Stevenson 
• Middle Schools: Chinook, Highland, Odle, Tillicum and Tyee 
• High Schools: Bellevue, Interlake, Newport and Sammamish 

Nutrition Services uses PayPAMS for online payments for school meals. Visit the PayPAMS website for more information. Families may also pay for meals by check or cash at their child’s school. Checks should be made payable to Bellevue School District. 

Students eligible for reduced-priced school meals may participate at no cost. Due to financial support from the state of Washington, a co-pay for reduced-price meals will not be collected. 

All students (preschool to 12th grade) attending school in a district building have a school meal account that can be accessed with their student ID number. We encourage families to work with their students over the summer to learn their ID number, as they will need to enter it on the keypad at the cashier for meals.

Use FinalForms to register your students in grades 9-12 for athletics and activities. Students need to purchase an annual Associated Student Body (ASB) membership, provide an up to date physical, and pay or reconcile fees to participate in either clubs or athletic programs. Make payments for athletics and activities, pay fines and fees, and make purchases through Touchbase.

Students in grades 6-8: Lists of sports offerings and registration dates for 2026-2027 school year sports and required forms are posted in FinalForms. These sports listings are not open for registration. Registration for each middle school season occurs at the school, during the school day, and is completed by students. Specific instructions will be provided a week before registration opens. In the meantime, families are encouraged to complete required forms before the school year begins in preparation for participation in sports, activities, and field trips. Students with an active district email account should also sign their forms now. 

Students new to the district will be able to complete their FinalForms after receiving their district computers at the start of school.

All students enrolled in the Bellevue School District in grades PreK-12 must meet Washington State immunization requirements or have exemption paperwork on file. We encourage you to register for MyIRMobile, Washington’s immunization registry, to review your child’s immunization records. Students who are not in compliance may be sent home from school.  In Washington state, children ages 0 to 18 can receive all routinely recommended vaccine at no cost through healthcare providers participating in the Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP). While providers may charge an administration fee, you don’t have to pay if you are unable to.

If your child needs immunizations, please make an appointment with your child’s medical provider, find a CVP provider near you, or contact Highland Health Center, a school-based health center located at Highland Middle School.  

The International Community Health Services (ICHS) Mobile Team is partnering with the Bellevue School District Welcome Center to provide vaccinations for BSD students.

BSD uses the SchoolMessenger communication notification system to send districtwide messages and urgent alerts such as school delays and closures. Families may receive SchoolMessenger communication via phone call, text message and email. You do not need to create an account to receive notifications, as you will automatically receive them to the phone number and email address listed in your student’s record (see below for information about online student data verification).  

However, if you choose to set up a SchoolMessenger App account, you may adjust how you prefer to be notified. You may also view messages from the last 30 days online or by setting up the app on your IOS or Android smartphone. 

Important: Families should sign up with the same email address used for Online Student Data Verification through Synergy ParentVUE.

• Download "ParentVUE (NEW)" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• If you have previously activated your ParentVUE account, log in using your current username and password. You do not need to create a new account or an activation key.
• Clean up by deleting the old version of the app from your device once the new app is installed.
