High-Risk Activities
High Risk Activities:
a) activities not covered by Bellevue School District insurance
b) activities the district deems inappropriate due to their risk levels
c) activities that, because of their risks, the district deems inappropriate to include in school/district sponsored activities.
Trip sponsors must plan their activities accordingly and avoid all activities listed below:
- Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal
- Programs on Interstates or Busy
- Highways
- Amusement Parks
- Boating (Pleasure or Educational)
- Bonfires
- Boffing
- Bounce Houses-Inflatables (Including slides, etc.)
- Bungee Jumping
- Car or Person Snake through Town
- for Homecoming
- Car Racing (Drag or Track)
- Demo Derby
- Dunk Tanks
- Dodge Ball
- Extreme Sports Competition
- Fishing on Open Water
- Firearms (unless under FFA/ROTC)
- Foreign Travel (Non-Essential)
- Free Running
- Ga Ga Ball
- Go Carts
- Hang Gliding/Skydiving
- Helicopter/Plane Rides
- Hockey Clubs
- Indoor Hockey/Skateboard Hockey
- Hot Air Balloon
- Ice Fishing
- Ice Skating on Lakes & Ponds
- In-House Pyrotechnics
- Kayaking, Canoeing, Rafting (River,
- Ocean, Streams or Lakes)
- Logging, Timber Games
- Mechanical Bull Riding
- Mountain Biking
- Orienteering
- Outdoor Rock Climbing/Rapelling
- Overnight Camping Trips
- Personal Watercraft
