Club ELITES: The kickoff meeting will be tomorrow at 3pm in Mr. Libolt class.
Staff vs Student Basketball Game: It is that time of the year again. Our annual staff vs student basketball game will be next Friday at the end of the day. There will be a 20 minute girls’ and 20 minute boys’ game. If you are an 8th grader and have no F’s in any of your classes, you are eligible to play. Sign ups will be in the front office and they are limited to 20 players on each team. Don’t miss out on a chance to show off your skills in front of your classmates and run circles around your teachers up and down the court.
Attention: If you are not listening, now is the time to turn on those listening ears! The spirit committee on ASB has gathered ideas and would like to thank you for your help in suggesting a spirit day for Friday! Next FRIDAY, grades will be competing for the award of most spirited grade level. We will be battling for the title, the trophy, and the glory by participating in a COLOR WAR! 8th graders are challenged to wear red, 7th graders are challenged to wear blue, and 6th graders are challenged to wear green. Staff- you could win, too! You are challenged to wear black. Come covered head-to-toe in your class color and for the title of BEST GRADE LEVEL! We cannot wait to see who wins!
Computer Science Week: Did you know…
Computer science professionals can work in several industries
Unlike many degree programs, a computer science degree gives you the opportunity to work in a wide variety of industries. In this day and age, nearly every organization is using technology for everything from video conferencing to cloud computing. Computer science professionals are working in music, sports, fashion design, entertainment, finance, and the list goes on. As a result, computer science professionals are not limited to working in one single industry.
