Where You Belong!
The development and launch of a new Bellevue School District Welcome Center marks a transformative step in the Bellevue School District’s commitment to creating a more inclusive, supportive and family-centered educational environment.
The Welcome Center is designed to embrace families and students as they enter the district, fostering a sense of belonging and connection while helping with navigating the school system. At its core, the center reflects a vision for building human-centered systems and nurturing authentic relationships with the families we serve.
At the Welcome Center we:
- Welcome families to our district community
- Provide general information about BSD programs and services
- Provide support with the enrollment process
- Support and coordinate adult volunteers
- Oversee Language Access
A cornerstone of the Welcome Center initiative is the collaboration with our Welcome Center Design Team. This dedicated group of community members, educators, and stakeholders plays a vital role in shaping the vision and purpose of the Welcome Center.
The Welcome Center works in partnership with our Equity team to provide supports for all students, staff and families. Our work to create more equitable and inclusive learning environments continues to be a fundamental commitment.
The Welcome Center is a space that reflects the diverse needs and experiences of our families. We hope this inclusive space helps every Bellevue School District visitor and family feels supported and welcome.

Welcome Center Director
