ECEAP is tuition free for qualified families, funded by Washington state for children 3 and 4 years old. Children are eligible for ECEAP based on their age and family income. ECEAP staff work closely with parents to support their children’s health and education and to meet family goals. They help families access medical care, dental care, and social services.

Bellevue preschool programs offer students an introduction to a variety of world languages. Early childhood introduction creates a foundation for global awareness and cultural appreciation. Introduction to world languages includes:

• Early Language Exposure: All classrooms incorporate mini language lessons to introduce children to diverse languages.
• Creative Curriculum Approach: Using the adaptive Creative Curriculum framework, our classrooms weave songs, stories, and interactive activities into daily routines.
• Focus on Global Awareness: Depending on the focus of the school program and the languages spoken by our diverse staff, students are exposed to one or more languages throughout the year, fostering a global perspective and appreciation for different cultures.
• Kindergarten Pathways: As students prepare for kindergarten, they have the opportunity to apply for specialized choice programs. These programs offer greater in-depth language learning in Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, and Arabic, allowing them to continue their exciting multilingual journey.
