Bellevue AP® Institute

The Bellevue Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI) consists of four days of professional development focused on improving student success in your AP course and providing you with a toolbox of instructional strategies, student learning activities, fine-tuned lesson plans and assessments. APSI is a great opportunity for both middle and high school teachers to receive extra training, learn about upper-level course standards in your subject area even if you are not a current AP teacher.

This is the 28th year that Bellevue is hosting the APSI. Join the more than 18,000 participants from all 50 states, DC, 3 U.S. territories, 7 provinces of Canada, and 40 countries for this premier professional development opportunity.

2024 Online AP Summer Institute

Date: Monday, June 24 through Thursday, June 27
Time: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily
Location: Online via Zoom

Workshops Offered:
Select one of 24 different sessions, each focused on an AP course. Some courses may also be targeted to teachers new to teaching AP with another session for experienced teachers coming back to learn more.

2024 APSI Project Based Learning Series

Date: Tuesday, June 25 through Friday, June 28
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily
Location: Bellevue High School

  • PBL AP Environmental Science
  • PBL AP U.S. Government and Politics
  • PBL AP World History: Modern
