Attendance Requirements for Students in the High School Credit Recovery Program

Students are expected to attend class in-person each day until all course requirements are completed.

If you miss more than two in-person classes in the first two weeks, you may be dropped from the program.

Conduct

In order to assure that the summer program is safe and productive for everyone involved, students are held to the same standards of conduct as Bellevue students during the school year.  Students violating appropriate behavior code will be referred to the principal for discipline, which may range from an administrative conference up to and including expulsion from the summer school program.

Because we want every student to have a positive experience, we strive to work out any potential concerns with the student and the parent before withdrawing any student from the program.  However, we reserve the right to remove a student from summer school if their behavior is severely disruptive or creates a safety hazard.  Students and staff are expected to meet these expectations:

  • Show respect for yourself, your peers, and your surroundings.
  • Be to your in-person classes on time, and ready to learn.
  • Behave in a safe and appropriate manner.
