Summer School Programs

These programs are by invitation only.

High School Credit Recovery:

Current 9th – 12th Graders

Sammamish High School, July 8 – 31, 2025, Mondays to Fridays
Class: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM; Tutorial 12:30 – 1:30pm

This program is for high school students in need of course credit for courses previously taken. Students are identified based on their needs to support on-time graduation through school counselor recommendations, aligning with individual student graduation plans. This program is not for grade improvement, nor earning original credit for acceleration. This program is for credit recovery for classes previously failed (grades F, W, I, NC).

Students participate in class, in-person daily during their designated class times. Afternoon tutorial hours will be available for students as needed. The summer coursework utilizes the ALEKS learning platform for math, specially designed chemistry and biology summer curriculum, and the APEX learning platform for all other courses. In-person attendance is required daily. A no-cost lunch is offered daily to students.

HS Credit Recovery  Registration will open March 1, 2025. Registration closes June 6, 2025. Students in need of this program will be contacted individually by their school counselor and provided a passcode to register. Late registration will be open June 24 – 27, 2025 on a space available basis. Please email HSsummer@bsd405.org if you need to register late.

Families will receive an enrollment confirmation email in late June with teacher and classroom information.
