AP Testing General Information

Bellevue Schools that serve students in 9th-12th grades offer Advanced Placement courses and administer exams in May.  Students register and pay for AP exams at their school in the fall, prior to November 10, to avoid late fees.  AP exams are administered in May at the school or the BSD Central Testing Site.  All tests are proctored by trained staff.

The AP Exam Schedule and Late-Testing Schedule are published by the College Board and are the only dates for administration of AP exams at any location world-wide.

Each school has an AP Coordinator who oversees the exam registration process. If you have school-specific questions that are not addressed here, please use the school link below to email the AP Coordinator.  General questions should be sent to the Central AP Testing Team at: APTesting@bsd405.org.

AP Coordinators

Students who are residents of Bellevue School District (BSD ) and attend private school or home school may initiate exam registration by completing the steps found on: How to Register For AP Exams. Bellevue School District does not offer AP exams to students who attend a public school in another school district.

AP Course Enrollment: Students enroll in AP courses in the spring when course registration takes place.

AP Exam Registration: Students register for exams at school in the fall. Students/families must pay for AP exams before the test will be ordered.

Refunds:  BSD does not provide refunds for AP tests cancelled after November 14 unless there are extenuating circumstances such severe illness, student is unable to complete the class, family tragedy, etc.

Middle School Students Requesting AP Exam Registration: BSD offers AP exam administration to any 8th grade student who is enrolled in a BSD class that is an AP course, such as Pre-Calculus or Calculus.

We do not offer AP Exams for middle school students who are self-studying or enrolled in a non-BSD course, or native speakers of a world language. Once students are in high school, they can take any AP exam.
