AP Important Dates

AP Exams go Digital in 2025!

Students must pay for their AP exams using the BSD Touchbase payment system.  Once paid, the student’s exam is included in the school exam order submitted to the College Board.  Students can be assured that they have registered and paid for the exam by accessing My AP in their College Board account to see the exam icon and by checking Touchbase history to see they have paid.

Sept. 30 – Nov. 8

Shop and Pay is open in Touchbase for AP Test payments at the early registration fee of $99 per exam.

Sept. 23 – Nov. 8

The BSD Scholarship Form is available for students who are experiencing financial hardship and do not qualify for Fee Waivers.

Families who qualify for Free/Reduced Meals and complete the Consent to Share form will register for AP exams at no cost because they have a Fee Waiver.

Nov. 8

Early registration deadline. Payment deadline for AP Tests at a fee of $99. Schools will be reconciling payments and orders November 8-15.

Nov. 15

Schools submit exam order to the College Board.

Nov. 18 – Mar. 13

Test registration continues. Exam fees include a $40 late fee levied by the College Board. The cost is $139 per test.

January 24

College Board deadline to submit requests for accommodations for AP exams.

Mar. 14

Test order deadline at College Board. AP Exam registration ends.

May 5 – 16

Digital AP Exams are administered at all schools following the College Board schedule. Students who have registered and paid for exams will have a test in the Bluebook app.

Digital AP Exams for students with College Board-approved accommodations are administered centrally following the College Board schedule.

World Language and Music Theory exams are administered centrally following the College Board schedule. These exams have an audio portion, which is not yet available on Bluebook. The tests will be administered like they were last year, with paper test booklets.

May 19 – 23

Late exams for students with conflicts during the regular test window are administered centrally following the College Board late-testing schedule.
