Criteria for Late AP Exams

Students should plan to take ALL AP exams at their regularly scheduled time.

Students are expected to take both morning and afternoon exams scheduled on the same day, including AP and IB exams, as long as the exam times do not conflict. The school's AP Coordinator will work directly with the student to resolve any conflicts.

The College Board limits students with approved accommodations to one exam per day. The school's AP Coordinator will adjust a student's exam schedule to meet this requirement.

Late Exam Fees: A $50 fee applies to all late exams. The fee will only be waived if:

The student has College Board approved SSD accommodations.
The student has District approved extenuating circumstances.

Late Exam Schedule: All late exams are administered centrally following the College Board's published late testing schedule.

College Board Accommodations

The College Board may approve AP Exam accommodations for students who have an IEP, 504, or Health Plan. College Board accommodations are typically coordinated through the student's school counselor. Visit College Board Accommodations for more information.

Exams for students with approved AP Exam accommodations are not administered at the student's school. All exams with accommodations are administered offsite at an alternative BSD location.
