5310: General Personnel Placement for All Employees

A classification and compensation administration program shall be established by the Board of Directors and administered by the Human Resources and Payroll Departments for the purpose of providing equitable and adequate compensation to attract, retain and motivate classified employees.

This policy applies to all classified staff, unless any provision is in conflict with a specific negotiated labor agreement, in which case the labor agreement takes precedence over this policy
