5009: Employee Identification Badge Policy

  • 5000: Personnel
5009: Employee Identification Badge Policy

Adoption Date: Feb. 4, 2019

To facilitate the safety and security of our school communities and buildings in the Bellevue School District (BSD), all BSD employees are required to display their BSD identification badge on their person while working on any BSD property. The prominent display of identification badges adds security and helps identify individuals who are authorized to be on school district property.

The Superintendent or designee will establish procedures to:

  • provide standards and requirements for the display, responsible use, and security of District employee ID badges.
  • provide a consistent method to identify authorized individuals in the building.
  • provide a means of establishing a safe community.
