2195: Course Progressino for High School Students
- 2000: Instructional
Adoption date: Sept. 8, 2022
The board recognizes the need for all high school students to have full and open access to advanced courses, including Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Running Start, College in the High School, and other dual credit programs. To that end, the District will enroll any student who meets or exceeds the state standard on the eighth grade or high school English language arts, mathematics, and/or science state assessment in the next respective course or program that maximizes opportunities and aligns with the student's goals including their High School and Beyond Plan.
The District will notify students and parents/guardians of all course and program options listed in the District Course Catalog and will provide on-going academic and social emotional support for student success.
