1240: Committees

It is the policy of the Bellevue School District Board of Directors to operate as a committee of the whole to every extent possible. Such operation best ensures that policies and practices are reflective of the full board and are the product of open consideration and dialogue.

In special circumstances, special committees of the board may be created by a majority of the board. The purpose and terms of which shall be stated at the time of creation. In the event a special committee of the board is created, no more than two board members will serve on any such appointed committee.
