Share Your Feedback: Website User Survey and Focus Groups

The following message was shared with BSD families and staff via email on Tuesday, March 14, regarding the upcoming shift to a new website platform for all BSD websites and upcoming opportunities to share feedback.

The Bellevue School District is committed to strengthening communication with students, families, staff and the community as we work together to support each and every student to thrive as creators of their future world. The district is pleased to announce that in 2024, all BSD websites will move to a new platform, Finalsite. The intent of this move and concurrent redesign is to create a new and improved website experience for all users. This project is part of the continued work to improve communications at BSD, an extension of the recommendations offered through an audit by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

This project will take place over many months, with several phases identified:

• Strategy and Planning
• Listen and Learn
• Design and Development
• Launch and Promotion
• Support and Continuous Improvement

Share Your Feedback

The “Listen and Learn” phase of the new website project is underway. This phase offers opportunities for BSD staff, students, families and community members to continue to share their feedback on what they need and expect from BSD’s websites.

Website User Survey

Complete the Website User Survey by April 10, 2023, to share your perspectives on BSD’s district and school websites. The information gathered will help Finalsite begin the first phase of the website redesign process.

Focus Groups

Section Updated: Tuesday, March 21, 2023

Focus groups will be held on April 5, 6 and 19, 2023, to allow BSD and Finalsite to gain a deeper understanding of the wants and needs of website users. Participants will have the option to attend virtually or in person.

• Staff may express their interest in participating by completing a Focus Group Interest Survey by March 24, 2023 – BSD Staff Interest Survey
• Families and students may express their interest in participating by completing a Focus Group Interest Survey by April 7, 2023 – BSD Student, Family and Community Interest Survey
