Levies Fund Programs and Services Not Fully Covered by the State

The state does not fully fund all the programs and services that Bellevue students rely on. The two replacement levies on the February 10 ballot bridge that gap. 

• Proposition 1 continues funding for classroom teachers, counselors, nurses, and programs such as world languages, music, athletics, and advanced coursework. 
• Proposition 2 funds classroom technology, cybersecurity and network infrastructure, and funds safety upgrades and ongoing building maintenance. 

These two levies make up 24% of our general fund budget, ensuring every student has access to safe, well-supported and engaging learning environments.
