i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction Launching in 2025-2026

The BSD Teaching and Learning team is excited to announce the launch of i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction (My Path) K-8 for English and Spanish dual language immersion, literacy, and math for the 2025-2026 school year! BSD educators strongly advocated for actionable literacy and math diagnostic assessments, aligned instructional tools to support intervention/extensions, and consolidated instructional platforms to streamline access and increase our instructional effectiveness.

i-Ready will replace K-8 math and literacy assessments: STAR Reading and Math and mCLASS DIBELS/Lectura and Text Reading and Comprehension (TRC). Additionally, i-Ready has an online adaptive platform for students, My Path, that will replace current adaptive practice applications. Furthermore, i-Ready assessments will provide teachers with sequenced instruction for intervention and extension for students.

We are incredibly thankful to our teachers, students and families who advocated for this change and provided invaluable feedback during our elementary and secondary literacy and math pilots.
