Sustainability
The urgency of addressing climate change and environmental degradation has never been greater. As educators, we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to prepare our students to meet these challenges head-on. By prioritizing sustainability, we are not only protecting our planet but also empowering our students with the knowledge and skills they need to lead in a rapidly changing world.
Students played a key role in the adoption of the sustainability policy and the development of the Sustainability Plan. Throughout the plan development, their voices, concerns, and ideas have been instrumental in shaping our sustainability initiatives that will serve as a roadmap for sustainability in the Bellevue School District over the next five years.
