Strategic Plan

Strategic Plan site

In 2024, our strategic plan was crafted through an inclusive process by students, caregivers, educators, and community leaders who joined our Guiding Coalition. Our plan is built around three transformative strategic priorities: Building Human-Centered Systems and Relationships (We Belong), Cultivating Student Engagement and Learning (We Learn), and Strengthening Collective Leadership (We Lead).

Building Human-Centered Systems

By 2030, our goal is to increase the percentage of students, staff, and families who report that Bellevue School District is living into its value of a “Beloved Community” where members of our diverse community care for one another, feel a strong sense of belonging, and experience safety, dignity, and freedom from discrimination or hate. To accomplish this goal, we will work together to build system-wide understanding of Beloved Community, interrupt discrimination through improved processes and procedures, and establish belonging and trust baselines using survey data.

Our desired outcome is that each and every member of our school community experiences belonging, is actively engaged in learning, and is empowered to lead in school, community, and the world.
