Ms. Strazulla’s staff and teachers have put in a lot of efforts in creating a safe and happy environment at school for the kids. It is great to see fun activities like market day, STEM nights, field trips, and music recitals run at the school. The leadership program is an excellent program promoting a sense of responsibility and confidence at a young age. We appreciate all your efforts.

Watching Kindergarteners use basic programming skills to move robots is an experience that you can only get in the Bellevue School District. The high-quality educational opportunities that our students have access to is only possible through the support of the community. The Bellevue Schools Foundation has been the key community partner to fund educational innovation in a way you can't find anywhere else in the state, so our students learn the skills to be 21st century thinkers starting in preschool.

It is my 24th year teaching in the Bellevue School District, my 22nd at Bennett! I love being a teacher at Bennett Elementary. Bennett is a fantastic school, with a great staff, and amazing students and parents! The staff at Bennett strive to work together for every student focusing on researched-based methods, data and racial equity. As a teacher, I want to help every student feel a sense of belonging, success, and making their best get better. I am proud to be a Bennett Bulldog!

We are happy to be in Bellevue because of the innovative educational opportunities that make Bellevue School District unique — including the integration of Computer Science into our science classes. My daughter's favorite part of 8th grade science was the opportunity to learn how to use computer modeling to explore magnetism, including understanding conditional variables. The Bellevue Schools Foundation has been the key funding partner allowing Bellevue to offer relevant learning opportunities like these to every one of our students, ensuring they have the educational foundations to succeed in whatever they do.

Being a Graduation Succes Coach at Highland has brought many accomplishments to my professional and personal life. Every day I work with students on self-advocacy, communication skills, accountability and goal setting to prepare them for success in high school and beyond.

I love helping families in need, and building a relationship with them is crucial for me. When they reach out to me and I help them to meet their basic needs such as food, housing and medical care, parents experience less stress. This is good for our students to be successful at school.

We guide our students with academic and college counselors that build pathways for those aiming for college, technical careers, immediate employment, or personal explorations after graduation. We also develop their abilities to protect their mental health through courses and individual counseling. My role is to get students and their families exploring a broad range of training and career options and resources starting in 9th grade and their next steps after Newport.

Newport can help your students find their purpose. Through experience and exploration inside and outside the classroom, students find the subject that, with fascination, will drive them through education to a career they will pursue with vigor and success.
