Congratulations to Newport Media Production students and their instructor Steven Hamada who won awards for their films at the North Bend Theatre Outdoor Amateur Film Challenge on Dec. 8. Out of eleven films that were produced in his class, five were accepted into the film challenge. At the showing, two of the films took first and second place.
First Place winners were Peter Marsh and Keean Barber for “Get Up!”
Second Place winners were Karson Utzinger (IHS), Mathias Bien, Blake Wilcox, and Wanting Zhang for “The Last Take.”
