*Congratulations Tyee runners on another great cross country season. All of the hard work and dedication throughout the season paid off with some amazing times at the meets. Keep using that hard work ethic in all that you do. It’s worth the hard work. Please remember to return your jerseys to the jubilee office this week!

  • Make sure your name gets checked off by a coach when you return them
  • If not returned, you may be fined and your parents will be contacted
  • If you were on the cross country team and would like to join the soccer team, you must sign up by the end of this week (10/20) by letting a coach know or coming to practice

For the final Cross Country, the rain held off on Thursday for an “away” meet at Kelsey Creek Park.  The girls were victorious over Chinook and International while the boys came in second to a strong Chinook team.  Congrats to the Tyee girls for having an undefeated season – sixth year in a row!   Aidan Pong led the Tyee boys coming in fourth with a time of 11:55.   Ashley Chen (7th grader) was our first Tyee girl runner with a time of 12:45, placing second.  Our top five boys were Aidan Pong, Jeffrey Lewis, Jake Arthur, Gavin Rhatigan and Anthony Ng.  Top five girls were Ashley Chen, Sofia Yeates-Delahoz, Jenifer Cognata, Medley McCormick and Brianna Yang.

*Students- We have noticed that it has become a “thing” to walk up behind others and yank people back by their backpacks. This is a safety hazard and this behavior needs to stop. Thank you for helping to take care of each other by keeping us safe from harm.

*The library will be closed prior to school on Wednesday. Students please plan ahead
