LIBRARY END OF THE YEAR AND SUMMER READS!

Thank you to all in our community who again supported Tillicum Library with grants and their time this year!

Bellevue Schools Foundation for our “Cultural Responsiveness” and multi-lingual books, our Tillicum PTSA for funding one of most recent addition of  books on “Mental Health for Everyone”, and Bellevue Mandarin Dual Language PTSA.  Also to Barnes and Noble in Crossroads,  for helping us make our book fair such a success in December!

Thank you also to my 10 year veteran library volunteer, Ms. Pierrette Caron who is absolutely the best!

Thank you to Ms. Rochelle Brown, teen librarian for KCLS in Newport Hills and Lake Hills, for summer book talking to Ms. Hargreaves and Ms. Young’s LA classes this week!  Here is a link to the list of books that were presented and are available at KCLS libraries. See the KCLS login and help links below or stop by a KCLS library.

Look for them in Tillicum library in September if you don’t have a chance to read this summer!

A REMINDER on how to access books, ebooks and audiobooks from KCLS:

    1. Go to any KCLS library and get a free KCLS library card
    2. Go to kcls.org/downloads
    3. Add the Libby app
    4. Now you can also check out books, movies, graphic novels, music and more!

OR, to you use your KCLS student ID number:

KCLS LOGIN   and KCLS LOGIN HELP

Note: SORA is an app for e-books and audiobooks for BSD , but you can add KCLS to this app and borrow books from KCLS also.

Have a safe and FUN summer!

How to Research Using KCLS Databases

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
