Gifted Programs

The Gifted Program is designed for students indicated as gifted through cognitive and academic testing and superior academic performance whose academic needs are beyond the scope of the general education classroom. Services are designed to provide a challenging, accelerated, integrated and enriched curriculum.

New Administrator

Please help us welcome Lora McHugh as the new Supervisor of Gifted Programs, effective July 1, 2014. Lora joins us from Clark County School District in Nevada where she is currently serving in the role of Coordinator of the Gifted and Talented Program. She has also worked as a classroom teacher at the elementary and middle school levels in Nevada and Mississippi.
