STEM at Sammamish
Through problem-based learning across disciplines, our students graduate prepared to be the innovators of the future.
Our partnership with the University of Washington Institute for Science and Math Education supports teachers and students in Problem-based learning (PBL). Our PBL curriculum is aligned with the STEM Education Quality Framework.
The Sammamish Leads summer program allows students to work alongside professionals from local organizations such as the Gates Foundation Visitor’s Center and Valve Software in order to engineer solutions to local and global problems.
Targeted math and science support opportunities are helping students access and succeed in college preparatory STEM classes.
New course offerings and increased access to mentors and STEM experts are helping Sammamish students explore STEM careers.
