Phantom Lake’s Action Team for Partnership (ATP) is excited to invite you to our first Phantom Lake Community Café on January 9th. This is a unique setting where school staff, parents and community members come together and celebrate the individual perspectives that make us the special and diverse community we are. The café will be designed as a place to hear from one another, connect ideas, and dream of how we can create an even better Phantom Lake community.
The two hour event will start with a free dinner and personal story from our new Superintendent, Dr. Ivan Duran. Following his message, table groups will begin sharing thoughts in response to facilitated questions to allow for a mix of diverse perspectives to create an even more safe community for all to feel a stronger sense of belonging.
We want and need you. We know that all of us listening to one another will help us gain a deeper understanding of our great neighbors and build stronger awareness of the various cultures that make up this school community.
Child care and dinner will be provided based on RSVPS.
Return RSVP by Thursday, January 4th
We will be offering a catered dinner starting at 5:30 PM

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday celebrates the life and legacy of a man who brought hope and healing to America. We commemorate as well the timeless values he taught us through his example — the values of courage, truth, justice, compassion, dignity, humility and service that so radiantly defined Dr. King’s character and empowered his leadership. On this holiday, we commemorate the universal, unconditional love, forgiveness and nonviolence that empowered his revolutionary spirit. – See more at: http://www.thekingcenter.org/meaning-king-holiday
