Snow Makeup Day - 6/22

An additional snow day has been added to the end of the school year - Friday, June 22nd. OSPI (the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction) has waived one snow day - meaning we do not have to make it up! Please update your home calendars.

Principal Coffee - 5/30

Our PTA will be hosting a Principal's Coffee in the Phantom Lake Staff Lounge on Friday, May 31st at 8:45.

This is a great opportunity to sit down and have a conversation with our principal, Alice Humphres and celebrate this year's successes.

Lost and Found - OVERFLOWING

All families are encouraged to stop by the lunch room to check out the overflowing rack of coats, hats, lunch boxes and the like. The LOST and FOUND collection from the past eight months is full! Items not claimed will be donated to Good Will.

New Newsletter - 04/30/12

An updated newsletter has been posted in the Parent section of this website as of 5/14. Be sure and check it out for current Phantom Lake news.

No More Lunch Credit

There will be no more lunch purchases on CREDIT. Your student must have enough funds in their lunch account or cash in order to purchase a school lunch.

If your child attempts to purchase a school lunch without enough funds they will not be allowed to purchase the item of the day. Instead they will be given extra items that are available. Generally this will be yogurt, muffin and string cheese. If these items are not something your child would generally eat - make sure they have enough money in their account or send them to school with a lunch. No exceptions.

Walk-a-Thon - Step Into The Future

Friday, June 1 students, families and staff are encouraged to join us on the playground for the 2012 Walk-a-thon from 5:30 - 7:30.

The PTA NEEDS YOU! They need lots of help before and during the event to make it a great evening. Call or email Annette to find out how you can help -- ak4595@gmail.com or 425-679-6451.

Welcome to Phantom Lake Elementary School!
Phantom Lake is one of 16 elementary schools in the Bellevue School District. Our school currently serves approximately 475 students in preschool through fifth grade. Phantom Lake is a targeted Title 1/LAP School. We have a variety of programs to serve the needs of our diverse K-5 student population. These programs include a Title 1/LAP JumpStart morning program for children in grades 3-5 to support struggling students in need of academic intervention support for math or reading; reading support for children struggling in reading in all grades K-5; English Language Learner support for intermediate and advanced level second language learners; and a Special Education program for children with special learning needs.  Phantom Lake is also proud to include PALS, an Integrated Preschool program, for both typically developing children and children aged three through five who have special learning needs.  We also have a Head Start Preschool program available to qualifying children.  Additionally, Phantom Lake is host to a number of community-based programs and services that enrich the learning environment for our students. These include: the Boys and Girls Club after-school program, Youth Eastside Services connections, SeniorNet computer classes for senior citizens, and Granpals/VIBES classroom volunteers.

The Phantom Lake staff is committed to working as a team to provide the highest quality education for our students. We value working collaboratively with our students’ families and believe that the school-home connection plays an important role in the success of our students and our program at Phantom Lake. Our mission is to provide a top of the line preparatory education for all students that will prepare them for college, a career and life.
