We are practicing forgiveness this month. You are practicing forgiveness when you…remember that everyone makes mistakes, take responsibility for your own mistakes, share your feelings without taking revenge, stop giving uncaring people the chance to hurt you, accept people without judgment or criticism, and make amends instead of punishing yourself with guilt.
Reflections Artists – If you have not picked up your art work/certificates, please stop by the main office.
It's that time of year! Host a foreign exchange student from one of 30 countries! Deadline for sign-up is June 1st. For more information contact your Community Coordinator at cetusa.simone@gmail.com and check out our website at www.cetusa.org.
We are currently looking for volunteers for the 2012 Bellevue Arts Museum ARTSfair, scheduled for July 26-29, 2012. We are planning a spectacular event and seek your help to make it a success! We would appreciate if you could pass the information along to your students and anyone else who is interested in volunteering this summer. Volunteers have the wonderful opportunity to participate in one of the most prestigious art festivals in the Pacific Northwest, featuring performance art, live music, artist demonstrations and unique handmade crafts. I have attached the official volunteer registration materials for the 2012 Bellevue Arts Museum ARTSfair to this email. Please forward this information to anyone you feel would be interested in volunteering at this event. Specific volunteer duties will be assigned on a first-come basis so please submit your forms by June 25, 2012. For more information about the BAM ARTSfair, please visit http://www.bellevuearts.org/fair/index.html and feel free to contact me with any further questions you have regarding the event. There is something for everyone and it's fun to be involved with the Museum's biggest fundraiser of the year!

Prom:
· Completed guest passes are due to the main office by Thursday, May 24th. Ticket sales, during lunches, will be from Monday, May 21st through Thursday, May 24th.
· For more information on Aquarium directions/parking, go to: www.seattleaquarium.org; click on “Plan a Visit” and “Getting Here.” Students won’t have to worry about paying for parking because after the 8 p.m. start time, all city parking will be free under the viaduct and on Alaskan Way.
Graduation Tickets:
· As stated in the April letter sent home, each graduate will receive four tickets for the ceremony. These four free tickets will be distributed on Wednesday, June 6th, at 12:40 p.m., in the Commons.
· If graduates need additional tickets, they must complete and return an extra ticket request form to the main office no later than 2:30 p.m., on Monday, June 11th. These extra ticket forms will be available beginning on June 6th. Efforts will be made to honor all requests for extra tickets. A fair and equitable process will be used to determine allocation of extra tickets should we be unable to accommodate all of the requests. An alphabetical list of those students able to purchase extra tickets will be posted outside the main office, by 10:45 a.m., on Tuesday, June 12th. Additional tickets will cost five dollars ($5) each and will be purchased in the main office. We realize that this timing doesn’t allow for much advanced planning with your family and friends and hope that you have a variety of plans to celebrate your senior’s achievement to include all associated people. Students, also, can choose to drop off unused tickets to the main office by Friday, June 8th. I’m sure you share our goal to use all available seats in Meydenbauer Center, so be sure to return or give away any unused tickets.
