Where can I get school closure news and updates?

Worried about how you'll know if school is closed, especially when it's not snowing?  In the unlikely event that we would have to close a school, there are now eight ways to stay informed.  Take a moment to review the communication tools we are using to send out updates and select your preferred method.

BSD 24 Hour Newsline

Our recorded news line message will be updated if any school is closed due to staff illness.  We only change this message if a school is closed.

Radio/TV Stations

Local radio and TV stations report information posted on schoolreport.org or contact the district PIO to confirm that a school is closed.

BSD website

Bellevue School District homepage will be updated with a message if a school needs to be closed.

SchoolReport

Schoolreport.org is a regional system.  Note that on this system, all messages are cleared DAILY at 10am and 3pm.

BSD e-mail notification

If you subscribe to e-mail notification, you will receive an e-mail from the district notifying you of a school closure.  We also use this system to share information on upcoming district events and news items.
