Our Mission:
To serve each and every student academically, socially, and emotionally, through a rigorous and relevant education that is innovative and individualized. As a learning community that values one another’s humanity, we provide courageous support for an equitable and exceptional education for all students.

Highland Middle School serves students in grades sixth through eighth. We have a belief that every student, without exception and without excuse, will develop their character and become proficient or advanced in reading, writing and math. To achieve this goal we pride ourselves to develop a student’s schedule to meet each their needs, for some students it might be a more advanced math class or for others it might be a reading support class. We are seeing growth on the MSP and we are excited!

Highland is also home to the Functional Life Skills Program for the Bellevue School District. We have students from all over Bellevue come to Highland so we can meet their educational goal areas.
