Status of Schools
The Status of Schools is only applicable to families wishing to enroll in a school other than their neighborhood school. You are guaranteed enrollment at your neighborhood school regardless of the status.
Open: Space is possible. School is projected to be less than 90% enrolled. Applications will be placed in a lottery if there are more applicants than space available.
1-IN/1-OUT: Space is limited. School is projected to be 90% enrolled. Applications received will be placed in a PENDING file for consideration later in the spring or summer.
Closed: Space is unlikely. School is projected to be over 100% enrolled. A family may submit an open enrollment application for a closed school but applications will usually be denied.
All schools are closed for the 2017-18 school year.
