Welcome to Bellevue Schools:

Welcome packets created by the Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee are available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish for newcomer families.  The welcome packet includes a dictionary of school district terminology and programs, an overview of how the district is organized, and how to contact the appropriate office with questions and concerns.

Start here if you're new to Bellevue or shopping for a quality school system.

We have a great school system and every year we have new evidence that it continues to get better.  Our "Great by any Measure" motto is derived from measurable results that show more students are mastering basic skills at the elementary level, and more students are taking challenging courses in middle and high school. Over the past seven years, Bellevue has worked hard to put into place an academically rigorous curriculum that connects from subject to subject and grade to grade across the district.

Bellevue has received national recognition for its stated goal of providing all students with a top-of-the line college preparatory education.

Our teaching staff is top notch as evidenced by the ever increasing number of National Board Certified teachers. We set the same high standards for our teachers that we expect of our students.

This overview page is a great starting place to find out more about Bellevue Schools.  It is a collection of appropriate links to valuable pieces of information as you explore our site.
