Head Start - Part-Day Programs
Part-Day Head Start is free for low-income families, children 3 and 4 years old may attend part-day  Head Start. Children must be at least 3 years old by August 31st of that school year to be considered for  Head Start. Families must be at or below the federal poverty guideline to qualify. Classes run for 3.5 hours  per day, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Transportation may be provided to the  child's neighborhood Head Start school. Part-Day Head Start locations:

Head Start - Full-Day Programs

Full-Day Head Start is a full-day of preschool and childcare combined for parents working or going to school at least 20 hours per week.  The program is tuition based, and DSHS subsidy is accepted  for payment. The center is open Monday - Friday, and during  most school breaks. No transportation is provided; parents  drop off and pick up their children.  Full-Day Head Start offered at:

Toddler Programs
Young Toddlers Includes Full-Day of childcare Year round program Available to children 12 mths - 29 mths Offered 5 days a wk, 3 days a wk, or 2 days a wk Offered full-day only Available at Eastgate & Woodridge Elem. Infant Programs
