“Sammamish Leads is a really good experience because it lets us work on industry projects, some of them that are going on right at our school,” said Holly Patel, a senior who participated in Leads the past four summers. “It makes problems that seem really difficult at first more approachable.”
Sammamish High School is excited to present Shrek: The Musical, its first large-scale show that will be back at Sammamish after five years of planning and construction moved productions to Newport, International, and Interlake school stages.
Congratulations to Sammamish junior Brennan Weber on earning his Eagle Scout. To accomplish this Weber put in hundreds of volunteer hours, earned 28 merit badges, held a number of leadership positions with his troop and advanced in ranks several times, along with completing his Eagle Scout project: rebuilding benches, a dumpster enclosure and fire pit at his church, Pilgrim Lutheran, in Bellevue. Congratulations to the BSD students who competed in the DECA regionals at the Meydenbauer Conference Center on Jan. 6. Nearly 1,500 students competed from Area 4, and 142 BSD students qualified to advance to the state competition, which will be held March 2-4 at the Meydenbauer Center. Read More
