There are various methods of obtaining items needed for schools and departments. Regular purchase orders are the most common method used. In addition, purchasing cards are available for check out from school office managers or school accountants.
All purchases must be made according to District Policy No. 7200 Purchasing/Expenditures. DO NOT, under any circumstances, place an order with any vendor WITHOUT A FULLY APPROVED NUMBERED PURCHASE ORDER, except as described in the Reimbursement section. You could be held responsible for payment.
Purchasing staff will provide assistance in making purchases, returns, and repairs within District guidelines whenever the established purchasing options do not meet your needs. Please call the Purchasing Department at Ext. 4141 with your purchasing related questions.
