Bellevue School District (BSD) uses Metro Transit services for To & From School Transportation for High Schools, Big Picture School & International School Students.
Metro has changed the way ORCA Cards will work for school districts this year.
- New ORCA cards must be issued to ALL students EVERY year.
- ORCA cards will be pre-loaded with a bus pass. ORCA Cards will work from the first day of school each year to the last day of school. They will not work during the summer.
- Parents or students can no longer load additional funds on their ORCA card for use on another transit agency or for use during the summer.
- ORCA cards for Bellevue School District students will ONLY work on King County Metro and local Sound Transit buses.
- If an ORCA card is lost, stolen or damaged, it can be replaced for a $25 fee. Lost, stolen, damaged and defective cards will be deactivated / blocked from future use.
