School closure messages and what they mean:
One or two hours late
- All schools and full day programs start one /two hours late.
- Normal dismissal time.
- Regular or limited bus service as stated. For limited bus stop locations, check the school office, the Elementary Bus Routes page, or the Middle School Bus Routes page.
- Partial day programs cancelled, including the following: half-day Kindergarten, half-day Head Start, Special Ed Preschool, Morning/Midday Shuttles.
- Early Learning and After School Programs including infant, toddler, preschool and full day Head Start operate according to normal schedule.
- No elementary school breakfast.
School will dismiss ( ) hours early
- Buses will deliver students to regular or limited bus stops as announced. For limited bus stop locations, check the school office, the Elementary Bus Routes page, or the Middle School Bus Routes page.
- This message is for snow or other conditions which may develop during the school day requiring early dismissal.
- Community use of district facilities is cancelled.
- No Early Learning After School Programs

- No out of district transportation.

Metro bus service during snow days
All high schools and International School use Metro. During periods of poor weather. Metro will attempt to maintain service according to schedule - even if school is to start late. Please listen to messages and have alternative means arranged to get to and from school if poor weather is present or predicted.
