Dual Language Programs - Dual Language Education is also known as Two Way Immersion. Students from two language backgrounds learn together while instruction is systematically delivered in two languages. Students should plan to enroll for the full six years of elementary Dual Language instruction to receive the total benefits of the program. The Bellevue School District offers 2 dual language programs:

Gifted Education Programs - The testing application deadline for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year was November 18, 2011. Testing is not offered to out of district students in grades 1-7. The Bellevue School District will offer four Gifted programs in the fall of 2012: Academic Extension Program (Grade 2); Enrichment (grades 3-5); Prism (grades 2-8); Gifted High School Program. Kelsey Creek Home School Center - Kelsey Creek, a Bellevue School District Parent Partnership Program, provides learning experiences for students that are consistent with the state's alternative learning experience requirements. Students and their parents can design a portion of the learning experiences under the supervision of school staff and the experiences may be conducted, in part, outside of the regular classroom.
