All Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced ELLs are served by ELL-endorsed teachers and facilitators in their home schools. Types of ELL support:

ELD Instructor

• Provides Beginning ELLs with English Language Development Instruction.
• Provides Intermediate and Advanced ELL students with interventions with a language goal on an as-needed basis.

ELL Facilitator

• Provides support for Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced ELLs by supporting the classroom teacher through:
• Joint planning
• Curriculum mapping and alignment
• Co-developing instructional materials
• Collaborative assessment of student work
• Co-teaching
• Leads building-level professional development that is specific tlanguage development.
• Develops appropriate English Language Learner (ELL) instructional strategies thelp K-5 students successfully meet academic standards.
• Serves as a member of the core team of decision-making professionals in the elementary school environment in order tadvocate and support ELLs and their families.
• Organizes and involves families in school events.
• Serves as case manager for building ELLs.
