All Bellevue students are encouraged to seriously consider enrollment in one or more advance level courses before graduation. Bellevue offers students a choice of Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB at IHS) courses during 10th, 11th and 12th grade. AP and IB courses are college-level courses offered in high school. Advance level courses include regular homework and involve extensive reading. Students in AP & IB courses earn college credit if they perform well on rigorous national AP & IB tests.
