Kyle Gillette

Kyle Gillette is currently teaching computer science at Lakewood High School in Colorado.  He has taught AP Computer Science since 1988 in a variety of high school environments, ranging from a low performing inner-city high school, to a computer magnet program, to high performing suburban high schools. Kyle is in his 8th year as a College Board Consultant and has presented many one day and week-long workshops all over the United States.  He was an AP Computer Science exam reader for 6 years.

 

Kyle received his BA and MA from Austin College with concentrations in mathematics and English, followed by graduate studies in computer science at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Kyle is married and has two daughters. He coaches high school cross country and track; and works with disabled skiers at the Eldora Special Recreation Program.
